New Materials
(and more coming soon!)

We've been busy at the Portland Urban Coyote Project. On our website you will find an updated sighting form, updated tutorial, and a new colorable fact sheet in English and Spanish to post online and in your community.

We have more updates coming! All the recently released material and forthcoming materials are thanks to the generous support from the Tualatin Soil and Water Conservation District—we couldn't do this without them!

Seasonal Notes

Now that it’s summer, coyote pups are growing into juveniles. Coyote pups were born between March and May and are still with their parents until at least late summer. Right now, coyotes are teaching their young important skills, like how to hunt. As always, make noise if you see a coyote so they stay wild. Learn more about coyote pups in the About Coyotes section of our tutorial.
